Journey Pediatrics is dedicated to providing comprehensive pediatric services for children aged 0 to 18. From well-child check-ups and vaccinations to specialized treatments and compassionate care, our experienced team of pediatric professionals is committed to ensuring the health and well-being of your child throughout their developmental journey. At Journey Pediatrics, we’re here to support your child’s growth, development, and overall health every step of the way.
One to two days after being discharged from the hospital we would like to see your newborn for his or her first appointment. Please bring your newborn’s hospital discharge summary to your appointment.
After age 3 we recommend that your child be seen for a well child exam once a year. We are here to see your child through their 18th birthday and/or graduation from High School.
We are strong advocates for vaccinations. If parents stay on track with New Mexico’s recommended schedule then children will receive vaccines at:
If your child misses a well child exam or is having vaccines administered on a modified schedule, your child may receive vaccines during other appointments.
We are eager to accommodate sick visits to the best of our ability. We offer some same-day appointments. We also have a patient portal for non-urgent concerns and our website links to a symptom checker that can also assist you with your children’s sick symptoms.

We are in the process of organizing Flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics. COVID-19 vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Stay tuned for more details!
As a participant of the New Mexico VFC program Journey Pediatrics is now able to offer Covid vaccines during scheduled visits. We are only receiving limited amounts from the state at this time so please check with your medical Provider during your visit if you are interested in your child having the Covid vaccine administered during their visit. Due to limited availability, we will not be scheduling appointments specifically to administer only the Covid vaccine.
